Hammond AVFK2AC120 Dual 120 mm Low-Decibel Rack Fan Kit, 116 CFM

The AVFK2AC120 is a two-fan, low-decibel cooling kit for rack-mount installations, designed to add active airflow to enclosures and racks housing audio/visual, broadcast, IT and office equipment. Rated at just 30 dB (measured at 12 in to 24 in from the source), it is intended for spaces where fan noise would otherwise be intrusive, while still moving a combined 116 CFM to help extend the life of heat-sensitive electronics.

Each kit contains two ball bearing type fans measuring 4.72 in (120 mm) wide, four chrome plated steel fan guards (two per fan, also sold as replacement part DNFG), one NEMA 1-15P daisy-chain cord assembly for two fans, and thread-forming 10-32 mounting hardware — 16 screws total, #10-32 x 1/2 in panhead, eight per fan. The fans are rated 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.38 Amps, 116 CFM.

The supplied cord is 72.00 in (1829 mm) long and supports a maximum fan-to-fan distance of 12.00 in (305 mm). If the two fans in an AVFK2AC120 kit must be mounted farther than 12 in apart, the DNFC Fan Cord series offers a longer single connection wire.

Fan components are recognized to UL 507 and CSA certified. The kit operates from -20°C to +60°C at 5% to 95% relative humidity in a non-condensing space, is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and assembled in North America.
