Hammond DNFK4AC120 400 CFM Four-Fan Cooling Kit With Guards

The DNFK4AC120 is a four-fan, high-CFM cooling kit from the DNFK Series, built to add active cooling to rack-mount and data-communications installations. It is aimed at IT and AV integrators, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need to move a large volume of air through a cabinet or rack section and extend the service life of the equipment inside it.

Each kit ships with four ball bearing type fans measuring 4.72 in (120 mm) wide, for a combined airflow of 400 CFM at a measured noise level of 80 dB (taken 12 in to 24 in from the source). Every fan is paired with two chrome metal grills, giving eight fan guards in the box, plus eight thread-forming 10-32 fasteners per fan. A single NEMA 1-15P daisy-chain cord assembly with a 72.00 in (1829 mm) overall length connects all four fans; the cord allows a maximum fan-to-fan distance of 12.00 in (305 mm), and the DNFC Fan Cord series is referenced for longer single connection wire runs.

Drawing dimensions give each fan as 119.00 mm (4.685 in) square by 34.99 mm (1.378 in) deep with 104.78 mm (4.125 in) mounting hole centres, while the guards are 114.40 mm (4.504 in) in diameter and 5.00 mm (0.197 in) thick. Fan components are recognized to UL 507 and CSA certified. The kit operates from -20°C to +60°C in 5% to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing, and is RoHS and REACH compliant as well as TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Assembled in North America.
