Hammond AVFK1AC120 Single-Fan 58 CFM Low-Decibel Rack Cooling Kit

The AVFK1AC120 is a single-fan cooling kit from the AVFK Series of low-decibel heavy duty cooling fan kits, intended for adding active cooling to rack-mount equipment installations. Rated at 58 CFM total airflow with a noise level of 30 dB (measured at 12 in to 24 in from the source), it is aimed at audio/visual, office and other noise-sensitive environments where AV integrators, IT teams and facilities staff need to extend the life of installed electronics.

The kit is supplied complete: one ball bearing type fan, two chrome plated steel fan grills (available separately as replacement part DNFG), one cord assembly, and eight thread-forming 10-32 screws (#10-32 x 1/2 in panhead) for mounting. The fan is a 4.72 in (120 mm) nominal width unit measuring 119.00 mm [4.685 in] square by 34.99 mm [1.378 in] deep, with 104.78 mm [4.125 in] mounting hole spacing. Each guard measures 114.40 mm [4.504 in] in diameter and 5.00 mm [0.197 in] thick.

Electrically, the fan is rated 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.19 amps and terminates in a 72.00 in (1829 mm) cord with a NEMA 1-15P plug, so AVFK1AC120 can be powered from a standard receptacle or rack PDU outlet. Fan components are recognized to UL 507 and CSA certified.

Operating temperature range is -20°C to +60°C, with a relative humidity range of 5% to 95% in a non-condensing space. AVFK1AC120 is RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA-compliant for GSA Schedule purchases, and assembled in North America. Shipping weight is 3 lbs (1.36 kg).
