Hammond 2STFS747524SS 74x75x24 Slope Top 304 Stainless Freestanding Enclosure

For large 304 stainless installations that need maximum depth, the 2STFS747524SS provides a 24.13 in deep, two door Type 4X freestanding enclosure with a 20° sloped top. The 2STFS series is designed to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in larger applications, and the slope keeps water from resting on top.

The series table lists H1 74.13 in (1883 mm), H2 79.49 in (2019 mm), W 75.13 in (1908 mm) and D 24.13 in (613 mm); the long description calls it 74 x 75 x 24. Per the drawing, each of the two door openings is 32.81 in wide, each door is 34.45 in wide, and 29.89 in of clear space is available on the door. The formed 10 gauge steel inner panel of 68.00 x 68.00 in (1727 x 1727 mm), white powder coated, is provided on collar studs with panel supports, and a removable center post gives easy access during panel installation.

The enclosure is formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and a natural smooth, brushed finish. A flange trough collar (FTC) around the door opening and a seamless poured-in place gasket keep out liquids and contaminants. Removable doors hang on bullet style, heavy duty lift off hinges and close through a heavy duty three point latching mechanism with roller ends, using stainless steel handles complete with padlock hasp. Lifting eyes are anchored into reinforced top corners, and there is provision for mounting fluorescent lighting, a literature pocket for the inside of the door, and bonding and grounding studs for each door.

The 2STFS747524SS carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X ratings and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 12, 13, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP66, with appropriate components required to maintain these standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships on a skid at 1227 lbs (556.56 kg).
