Hammond 2STFS747518S16 74x75x18 Slope Top 316 Stainless Freestanding Enclosure

At 18.13 in deep, the 2STFS747518S16 is the mid-depth 316 stainless steel option in the 2STFS sloped top freestanding series. It is a two door Type 4X enclosure designed to house electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it against harsh, industrial environments in larger applications, while its 20° sloped top stops water from resting on the roof.

Series table dimensions are H1 74.13 in (1883 mm), H2 79.49 in (2019 mm), W 75.13 in (1908 mm) and D 18.13 in (461 mm); the long description lists 74 x 75 x 18. Twin door openings are 32.81 in wide per the drawing, with 34.45 in doors carrying 29.93 in of clear space each. The 68.00 x 68.00 in (1727 x 1727 mm) formed 10 gauge steel inner panel is white powder coated and sits on collar studs and panel supports, with a removable center post for straightforward panel installation.

The enclosure is formed from 12 gauge stainless steel (316L per the series construction) with smooth, continuously welded seams and a natural brushed finish. A flange trough collar around the door opening and a seamless poured-in place gasket keep liquids and contaminants out. The removable doors use bullet style, heavy duty lift off hinges and a heavy duty three point latching mechanism with roller ends, closed with stainless steel handles complete with padlock hasp. Lifting eyes are anchored into reinforced top corners, and a provision for fluorescent lighting, a literature pocket and bonding and grounding studs for each door are included.

The 2STFS747518S16 is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X rated and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 12, 13, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP66 when appropriate components are used. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, weighs 1227 lbs (556.56 kg) for shipping, and is packed on a skid.
