Hammond 2STFS747518SS 74x75x18 Slope Top 304 Stainless Freestanding Enclosure

The 2STFS747518SS combines an 18.13 in depth with 304 stainless steel construction in the 2STFS family of Type 4X sloped top freestanding enclosures. It is built to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments for larger applications, and its 20° sloped top prevents standing water on the roof.

Size is H1 74.13 in (1883 mm), H2 79.49 in (2019 mm), W 75.13 in (1908 mm) and D 18.13 in (461 mm), nominally 74 x 75 x 18. The drawing shows two 32.81 in wide door openings and 34.45 in wide doors with 29.92 in of clear space available on each. Inside is a formed 10 gauge steel inner panel of 68.00 x 68.00 in (1727 x 1727 mm), white powder coated, carried on collar studs and panel supports; the center post is removable to ease installation.

The body is formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and a natural smooth, brushed finish. Liquids and contaminants are kept out by a flange trough collar around the door opening and a seamless poured-in place gasket. Doors are removable, hung on bullet style heavy duty lift off hinges, and close with a heavy duty three point latching mechanism with roller ends via stainless steel handles that include a padlock hasp. Heavy duty lifting eyes anchor into reinforced top corners, and the enclosure provides for fluorescent lighting, a literature pocket and bonding and grounding studs for each door.

The 2STFS747518SS holds UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X ratings and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 12, 13, 4, 4X and IEC 60529 IP66, with appropriate components required to maintain these standards. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships on a skid at 1227 lbs (556.56 kg).
