The 2DBI3SS is the stainless version of the double bit insert with a 3mm pin in the Quarter Turn Inserts and Keys range. It suits OEMs, panel shops and facilities teams working with Eclipse and Series 2000 enclosures who want a stainless insert that cannot be opened with a standard screwdriver.
Like the other inserts in the range, the 2DBI3SS is field installable and replaces the standard quarter turn slot. It maintains the NEMA, UL and CSA 12, 4 and 4X ratings of the enclosure, and as a non-slot insert it provides extra security because standard screw drivers cannot open it.
The part measures 0.62 in x 0.62 in x 0.97 in (16 mm x 16 mm x 25 mm) H x W x D; the drawing gives overall dimensions of 0.623 in x 0.623 in x 0.973 in. It ships in a bag at 0.05 lbs (0.02 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
Keys are sold separately from inserts. Order the PMKEY double bit key, which fits both 2DBI3SS and the black 2DBI3.
