The 2TRI7 is a black 7mm triangle insert from the Quarter Turn Inserts and Keys range for Eclipse and Series 2000 enclosures. It lets panel builders, OEMs and facilities teams restrict enclosure access to staff carrying the matching triangle key.
The insert is field installable and replaces the standard quarter turn slot. It maintains the enclosure's NEMA, UL and CSA 12, 4 and 4X ratings. As a non-slot insert it provides extra security, since standard screw drivers cannot open it.
The part drawing shows call-outs of 0.276 in (7mm), 0.625 in, 0.63 in, 0.735 in and 1.015 in. The manufacturer short description is "N 2000 7MM TRIANGLE INSERT". The 2TRI7 ships in a bag at 0.03 lbs (0.01 kg) and is REACH and RoHS compliant.
Keys are sold separately from inserts: the 2TRK7 7mm triangle key fits the 2TRI7.
The same range offers square, double bit and slotted inserts, so you can select the drive format that suits your site's access policy.
