The 2CST204836 is a 48 inch wide Standard Depth Turret made of 304 stainless steel for the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It houses video screens across a wide console position, offers panel mount or rack mount capability, and is supported by a Base, Pedestal or Standard Desk.
It uses formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel for the body and doors, stainless steel hardware, and a natural stainless finish that is smooth and brushed. Seams are continuously welded without knockouts or holes, with body stiffeners where required. Solid sides and top, an open bottom, and solid front (opens down) and back (opens up) doors complete the enclosure.
The enclosure is 20.00 in (508 mm) high, 48.00 in (1219 mm) wide, 12.38 in (314 mm) at D1 and 16.62 in (422 mm) at D2. The drawing shows a 47.75 in wide door with 45.68 in of clear space available and a 17.55 in door opening.
The front door's sliding rod mechanism allows a 102º opening when lowered; the rear door has a manual 3 position adjustable stop. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches, permanently secured oil resistant gaskets and a formed lip seal the unit, and internal studs, a door bonding screw and an enclosure grounding stud are provided.
