When a narrow console position needs extra depth for screens or rack equipment, the 2CST202443 provides a 24 inch wide Extra Deep Turret in 304 stainless steel. Part of the Series 2000 Modular Console System, it houses video screens with panel mount or rack mount capability and is supported by the Deep Desk only.
It is formed from 14 gauge 304 stainless steel for body and doors, uses stainless steel hardware, and has a natural stainless steel finish that is smooth and brushed. The continuously welded seams have no knockouts or holes, and stiffeners are provided where required. Sides and top are solid, the bottom is open, the front door opens down and the rear door opens up.
The enclosure is 20.00 in (508 mm) high, 24.00 in (610 mm) wide, 16.62 in (422 mm) at D1 and 23.31 in (592 mm) at D2. Per the drawing, the 23.75 in wide door offers 21.68 in of clear space, and the door opening is 17.55 in.
The front door's sliding rod mechanism allows a 102º opening in the lowered position, and a manual 3 position stop supports the rear door. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches, oil resistant gaskets that are permanently secured, and a formed lip help seal it; internal studs, a door bonding screw and an enclosure grounding stud are included. A 24 in Front Window Door is available in the same finish.
2CST202443 is listed UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, IEC 60529 IP66 and EIA RS-310-E. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships on a skid at 80 lbs (36.29 kg).
