The 2CST203643 is a 36 inch wide Extra Deep Turret in 304 stainless steel from the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It is intended to house video screens and deeper equipment, with panel mount or rack mount capability, and in the deep format it is supported by the Deep Desk only.
The body and doors are formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel, with stainless steel hardware and a smooth, brushed natural finish. Continuously welded seams leave no knockouts or holes, and stiffeners add rigidity where required. It has solid sides and top, an open bottom, a front door that opens down and a rear door that opens up.
Enclosure size is 20.00 in (508 mm) high by 36.00 in (914 mm) wide, with a D1 depth of 16.62 in (422 mm) and a D2 depth of 23.31 in (592 mm). The 35.75 in wide door provides 33.68 in of clear space, and the door opening is 17.55 in, per the drawing.
On the front, a sliding rod mechanism allows a 102º opening when the door is lowered; on the back, a manual 3 position stop supports the open door. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches secure both, with tamper resistant and locking latches optional. Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, a formed lip excludes flowing liquids, and internal studs, a bonding screw and a grounding stud are provided.
