The 2CLT206043 combines the full 60 inch width with the Extra Deep format of the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It serves as a housing for video screens and deeper equipment across a wide console, can be configured for panel mounting or rack mounting, and is supported by the Deep Desk only.
Formed 14 gauge steel is used for the body and the doors, with smooth continuously welded seams free of knockouts and holes and stiffeners where required. The turret has solid sides and top and an open bottom; the front door opens down and the rear door opens up. Everything is finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating.
It measures 20.00 in (508 mm) high and 60.00 in (1524 mm) wide, with a 16.62 in (422 mm) D1 depth and a 23.31 in (592 mm) D2 depth. The drawing shows a 59.75 in wide door, 57.68 in of clear space available on the door and a 17.55 in door opening.
Door hardware includes a front sliding rod mechanism allowing 102º of opening when lowered and a manual 3 position rear door stop. Quarter turn oil-tight latches (tamper resistant and locking options available), permanently secured oil resistant gaskets and a formed lip protect the interior, and internal studs, a bonding screw and a grounding stud are provided.
