Hammond 2CSBW60 30" Stainless Window Door for 60" Bases

The 2CSBW60 brings a Lexan viewing window to stainless steel Series 2000 console bases 60 in (1524 mm) wide. Bases of this width have two front doors; the 2CSBW60 replaces one of them so the equipment inside can be seen at a glance, while the other door stays solid. The manufacturer is clear that on two-door units a window can be installed on one side only.

The window door is built of 14 gauge steel with a Lexan window, and this part is the 304 stainless steel version for stainless consoles. A gasket and door rail are shown on the drawing, and the manufacturer states that the window door maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure.

This is the largest stainless size in the S2CBWD series. The ordering table lists a 29.75 in (756 mm) door width (dimension B) and a 22.75 in (578 mm) viewing width (dimension C). On the part drawing the door is 25.50 in high, with an 18.75 in high viewing area available on the door.

Hammond lists the door as an easy field installation, so it works for upgrading a console already on the plant floor as well as for new builds. If the console is painted rather than stainless, choose the RAL 7035 light gray 2CLBW60. The 2CSBW60 ships in a box and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
