Hammond 2CLBW60 30" Light Gray Base Window Door for 60" Bases

Part 2CLBW60 adds a viewing window to a 60 in (1524 mm) wide Series 2000 console base. The widest base in the system uses two front doors, and this window door takes the place of one of them, giving control engineers and technicians a clear view of the equipment housed below the console work surface. As with every two-door base, the window is installed on one side only.

Construction is 14 gauge steel with a Lexan window, painted RAL 7035 light gray to match light gray consoles, bases and turrets. The drawing shows a gasket around the door, and the manufacturer notes that fitting the window door maintains the NEMA rating of the enclosure.

This size is the largest of the S2CBWD doors. Dimension B, the door width, is 29.75 in (756 mm), and dimension C, the viewing width, is 22.75 in (578 mm). The part drawing gives a 25.50 in door height with an 18.75 in high viewing area available on the door. It ships in a box with a shipping weight of 38 lbs (17.24 kg).

The window door is designed for easy field installation, which makes it practical to upgrade a base already in service. For stainless steel consoles, order 2CSBW60 instead. The 2CLBW60 is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
