Hammond 2CLT203643 36" Extra Deep Turret Console, Light Gray Steel

The 2CLT203643 is a 36 inch wide Extra Deep Turret from the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It is built as a housing for video screens and other operator equipment on control consoles, and its flexible design supports either panel mount or rack mount installation. Because it is the deep format, it is supported by the Deep Desk only.

The body and doors are formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts or holes. Body stiffeners are added where required for strength and rigidity. The sides and top are solid, the bottom is open, and there is a solid door on both the front (opens down) and the back (opens up). The finish is RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating.

Enclosure dimensions are 20.00 in (508 mm) high by 36.00 in (914 mm) wide, with depths of 16.62 in (422 mm) at D1 and 23.31 in (592 mm) at D2. The drawing shows a 35.75 in wide door, a 17.55 in door opening and 34.11 in of clear space available on the door.

The front door uses a sliding rod mechanism that allows a 102º opening in the lowered position, while the rear door has a manual 3 position adjustable stop. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches secure the doors, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids. A bonding screw on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided, plus internal studs for accessories.

2CLT203643 is listed to UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12 and IEC 60529 IP66, and follows EIA RS-310-E. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships at 120 lbs (54.43 kg) in a box.
