Hammond 2CLT202443 24 in Extra Deep Console Turret, Light Gray

The 2CLT202443 is the 24 in wide Extra Deep turret in the Hammond Series 2000 Modular Console System. Its added depth over the standard turret gives more room for video screens and panel or rack mounted equipment. Deep turrets are supported by the Deep Desk only, so this unit is specified as part of a deep desk console layout.

Enclosure dimensions are H 20.00 in (508 mm), W 24.00 in (610 mm), D1 16.62 in (422 mm) and D2 23.31 in (592 mm), and the part drawing shows 22.11 in of clear space available on the door. The unit has a shipping weight of 85 lbs (38.56 kg).

The body and doors are formed 14 gauge steel in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating, with smooth continuously welded seams free of knockouts or holes and body stiffeners where required. Solid sides and top, a front door that opens down, a back door that opens up and an open bottom make up the enclosure. A sliding rod mechanism gives the front door a 102 degree opening when lowered, and the rear door has a 3 position adjustable door stop.

Doors close with slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches (tamper resistant and locking latches are optional) against permanently secured oil resistant gaskets, and a formed lip keeps out flowing liquids. The turret provides internal accessory studs, a door bonding screw and a grounding stud. Ratings include UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12, CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13, EIA RS-310-E and IEC 60529 IP66; it is RoHS and REACH compliant.
