The 182G117 is a 50 VA toroidal power transformer, described as TOROID, 50VA, 50HZ, 117/117V. Its secondaries match the primary voltage options: in series they give 234 V center-tapped at 214 mA, and in parallel 117 V at 428 mA. The dual 117/234 VAC primary operates at 50/60 Hz.
Per the series specification sheet, the 182 Series will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last; it has been replaced with the 1182 Series.
The body is 3.63 in (92 mm) in outside diameter and 1.73 in (44 mm) high, with an open, non-potted centre. It is secured by one 10-24 centre bolt 2.00 in (51 mm) long plus a top steel mounting washer and top and bottom rubber washers; two rubber insulating pads, a metal centering washer and all mounting hardware are supplied. The table lists 1.67 lbs and the shipping weight is 1.7 lbs (0.77 kg).
Flexible leads are 8 in minimum. Primary-to-secondary Hi-Pot testing is 4,000 V RMS, and the series is CSA certified to C22.2 #66 (file 209651), UL recognized to UL506 (file E207860) and CE certified to IEC950. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
