The 182G15 is a 15 VA toroidal transformer with dual 15 V secondaries: 30 V center-tapped at .5 A when connected in series, or 15 V at 1 A in parallel. Its dual 117/234 VAC primary operates at 50/60 Hz. The 30 V C.T. option is a natural fit for small bipolar analog supplies.
The manufacturer lists it as REPLACE WITH 1182G15. The 182 Series is being discontinued as a stocked series, is available while quantities last, and has been replaced with the 1182 Series.
Size is 2.70 in (69 mm) outside diameter by 1.25 in (32 mm) high, with an open centre. The part mounts with one 8-32 bolt 1.50 in (38 mm) long through the centre, with a top steel washer and top and bottom rubber washers; two rubber insulating pads, one metal centering washer and all mounting hardware are supplied. Weight is 0.76 lbs (table) and 0.8 lbs (0.36 kg) shipping.
Flexible leads are at least 8 in long and the windings are designed to all be engaged. Primary-to-secondary Hi-Pot is 4,000 V RMS. The series is CSA certified to C22.2 #66 (file 209651), UL recognized to UL506 (file E207860) and CE to IEC950; RoHS and REACH compliant.
