Hammond 182F240 80VA Toroidal Transformer, 240V Single Secondary

The 182F240 is an 80 VA toroidal power transformer listed as TOROID, 80VA, 50HZ, 240V. It has a single 240 V secondary rated at 333 mA and a dual 117/234 VAC primary for 50/60 Hz operation, giving OEMs a compact 240 V supply for control, relay and auxiliary equipment.

The 182 Series specification sheet states that the line will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last, having been replaced by the 1182 Series.

This toroid is 3.73 in (95 mm) in outside diameter and 1.52 in (39 mm) high with an open centre. It mounts through the centre on a 10-24 bolt 2.00 in (51 mm) long, with a top steel mounting washer and top and bottom rubber washers. As an 80 VA unit it comes with two rubber insulating pads, one metal centering washer and all mounting hardware. The series table weight is 2.15 lbs and the shipping weight is 2.2 lbs (1.00 kg).

Minimum 8 in flexible leads are provided. The primary is connected in parallel for 117 V and in series for 234 V. Hi-Pot testing is 4,000 V RMS primary to secondary; approvals include CSA C22.2 #66 (file 209651), UL506 recognition (file E207860) and CE to IEC950. RoHS and REACH compliant.
