The 1650HA is a 40 watt (RMS) push-pull hi-fi output transformer for two-tube output stages. It has a 6,600 ohm centre-tapped primary rated at 200 mA DC per side and an easy-wire secondary tapped for 4, 8 or 16 ohm loads.
Suggested tube types are 6L6GC, 807, 5881 and EL34 in push-pull (2 tubes). Unlike the 1650G at the same primary impedance, the 1650HA includes 40% screen taps for Ultra-Linear operation if desired. Typical applications are triode, Ultra-Linear pentode, pentode and tetrode connected audio output.
Rated response is 30 Hz to 30 kHz at full rated power, +/- 1 dB max. (ref. 1 kHz). Typical drawing data at 1 kHz: 146.5 ohms primary DCR, 11.3 H primary inductance, 70 kOhm primary impedance and 297.7 mH leakage inductance; secondary DCR is 225, 259 and 319 mOhm on the 4, 8 and 16 ohm taps. Dielectric strength is 2000 Vrms; temperature range -40 to 105 C.
The 1650HA is enclosed (shielded) with 4 slot, above chassis Type "X" mounting, plastic coil forms and insulated flexible leads of 8" minimum. Dimensions are A 3.13 in (80 mm), B 4.00 in (102 mm), C 3.81 in (97 mm), D 2.50 in (64 mm) and E 2.69 in (68 mm), weight 6.5 lbs. Made in Canada; RoHS and REACH compliant.
