Hammond 1599KSTLGY 140 x 220 mm Economy Long-Slope Console, Gray ABS

The 1599KSTLGY is a light gray long-slope sloping console from the 1599T series, a slope-top plastic console for interface and control electronics built by OEM engineers and integrators. This K-size console is 140 mm wide and 220 mm from front to rear, stepping from its 20 mm front height up to a 46 mm rear height.

The box and lid are molded from general purpose ABS (not flame retardant) rated UL94 HB. As an economy version it closes with #4 self-tapping screws driven into the plastic rather than machine screws into brass inserts; the recommended cover screw torque is 42-57 ozf.in (30-40 cN.m). The rear of the enclosure has one flat removable panel for easy modification, and the K size includes PC board standoffs on both the inside top and bottom. Four black rubber feet are included with the enclosure.

The maximum P.C. board size is 131 mm long by 211 mm wide (board not supplied), and the inside of the box accepts #4 self-tapping screws for mounting it. The top carries a recessed inlay of 208.50 mm [8.21 in] by 126.00 mm [4.96 in].
