The 1599BBKCP is the black 1599B handheld enclosure supplied with a nylon belt clip already installed. With no battery door it keeps the full internal length for electronics, giving belt-worn devices the same 53 x 123.5 mm board area as the standard 1599BBK.
It is molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0 and is designed to meet IP54; lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water. The ordering table gives 5.12 in (130 mm) long, 2.56 in (65 mm) wide and 1.02 in (26 mm) deep, with a part page nominal of 130 x 65 x 25 mm. Inside space is 124.33 x 59.33 x 19.25 mm, and the maximum board is 53 x 123.5 mm.
The clip is molded from tough nylon and fastened with 2 insulated nylon screws to avoid internal interference. The lid is secured with M3-0.5 machine screws into integral brass bushings (recommended torque 30-40 cN.m), and PC board standoffs on the inside top and bottom accept #4 self-tapping screws such as 1593ATS50 or 1593ATS100.
Supplied with the 1599BBKCP: box, lid, belt clip, 2 belt clip screws and 4 cover screws. The recessed top is designed for a membrane display or key pad, and two keyhole knockouts inside the base allow wall mounting as an alternative to belt carry.
