The 1599BBK is the black, standard version of the smallest 1599 handheld enclosure - the 1599B size - molded in flame retardant ABS. It is shaped for hand-held instruments such as handheld controllers and keypad devices, and suits product designers who want a finished-looking case without tooling their own.
The ordering table lists it at 5.12 in (130 mm) long, 2.56 in (65 mm) wide and 1.02 in (26 mm) deep, while the part page gives a nominal 5.12 x 2.56 x 0.97 in (130 x 65 x 25 mm). Inside there is 124.33 mm of length, 59.33 mm of width and 19.25 mm of height, and a printed circuit board of up to 53 x 123.5 mm fits on the standoffs molded into the inside top and bottom, which accept #4 self-tapping screws.

Options include the 1599CLIP belt clip, the 1599BD-BULK battery divider and 1593ATS50/1593ATS100 board screws.
