Hammond 1598HSGYPBK 281x201x41 mm Gray Case with Black Plastic Panels

1598HSGYPBK is the H-size 1598 instrument case in light gray general purpose ABS with black plastic end panels. The wide, 1.6 in nominal height and all-plastic construction suit designers housing large, flat circuit boards in a two-tone desktop enclosure.

It measures 11.06 in x 7.9 in x 1.6 in (281 mm x 201 mm x 41 mm) nominal, and 280.89 mm x 199.89 mm x 41.00 mm overall on the drawing. The inner box is 269.69 mm x 190.16 mm x 33.50 mm, and the maximum P.C. board size is 268.70 mm x 184.30 mm. The end panel area is 190.00 mm x 35.00 mm with a 185.89 mm x 30.50 mm viewing area.

• General purpose ABS body, UL94 HB flame rating
• Self tapping cover screws into plastic standoffs; not recommended for repeated assembly and disassembly
• Two sets of vertical 1.5 mm (0.062") board guides and horizontal card mounts on Eurocard centers
• Board aligns on bosses with eight 3.51 mm holes; standoffs take #6 x 1/4" (6.4 mm) screws (1598ATS100, not included)

The case ships with the top and bottom cover, black plastic end panels, two cover screws and four rubber feet, shrink wrapped at 1.17 lbs (0.53 kg). Replacement cover screws are 1591TS100, spare plastic panels are 1598PLHBK and tilt bail kit 1598TH2 fits this size.

The 1598HSGYPBK is designed to meet IP54 and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
