Hammond 1597DIN4MH68 DIN 4 Tall 73 mm Open Top Rail Enclosure

The 1597DIN4MH68 is the tall version of the Italtronic DIN 4 enclosure in the 1597DM Series, with an open top and open terminals on both sides. Its 73 mm depth, compared with 58 mm for the standard DIN 4 housings, gives extra height for taller components on DIN rail mounted PCB assemblies.

The housing is RAL7035 light grey PPO with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Snap closures mean no hardware is required, and the integrated clip mounts it on standard 35mm DIN rail. The purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 2.8 in x 2.88 in (90 mm x 71 mm x 73 mm), and shipping weight is 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

Its drawing lists five top cover options, not included: 1597D4MPH gray, 1597D4MPHTPC clear, 1597D4MPRH gray with inlay, 1597D4MPRHTPC clear with inlay and the 1597D4MPHGTPC clear top hinge cover. Terminal accessories 1597D4MTC6, 1597D4MTCKO, 1597D4MBC and 1597D4MHSC, the 1597D4MADP bread board and 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip are also listed. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
