The 1593KTBU is a transparent blue, compact handheld enclosure from the 1593 series with two removable end panels. The see-through coloured ABS shell gives a small handheld instrument a distinctive look while still mounting a printed circuit board securely inside.

The case is molded from general purpose ABS with a satin texture and a UL94 HB flame rating, and it is designed to meet IP54. Transparent blue enclosures include black finish screws; the 1593KTBU assembly has the top and bottom cover, four end panels (flat and contoured) and two cover screws. Internal bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws such as 1593ATS50.
A 55.00 x 55.00 mm recess on the top, 1.00 mm deep, takes a membrane display or pad. End panels are shared with size P, so 1593PIR10 infrared and 1593PAL10 aluminum packs fit, and the 1593KPCB board is designed for this size. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped and weighs 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg).
