The 1593DTBU is the transparent blue edition of the 1593D, the narrowest enclosure in the 1593 handheld family. The transparent blue ABS gives a slim handheld instrument a distinctive, see-through shell. Like the other 1593D colours it is designed to meet IP54, carries a UL94 HB flame rating and has a satin texture.
Outside, the series table gives 114 x 36 x 26 mm (4.49 x 1.42 x 1.02 in), while the part page lists 4.5 x 1.4 x 1 in (114 x 36 x 25 mm). The cavity measures 103.80 mm long, 29.76 mm wide and 19.80 mm high according to the drawing, and a board up to 105.80 x 25.98 mm can be mounted on the #4 self-tapping screw bosses.

The recessed top (100.70 x 23.90 mm, 0.50 mm deep) takes a membrane overlay or keypad. For the 1593DTBU, replacement cover screws are 1593QS100 or 1593QS100BK, board screws are 1593ATS50/1593ATS100, and 1593DIR10 infrared or 1593DAL10 aluminum end panels are available. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped and weighs 0.1 lbs (0.05 kg).
