The 1593JBK is the black version of the 1593J, the only size in the 1593 handheld family with no end panels. The ends are closed, so it suits compact handheld electronics that need no openings or connectors through the ends of the case. It is molded in general purpose black ABS with a satin texture, rated UL94 HB and IP54.
Nominal size is 66 x 66 x 28 mm (2.60 x 2.60 x 1.10 in). The drawing shows an overall footprint of 66.25 x 66.23 mm, an inside length of 60.07 mm and an inside height of 22.00 mm. The maximum recommended PCB is 59.07 x 59.07 mm [2.33 x 2.33 in], fastened with #4 self-tapping screws into the internal bosses.
The assembly is simply the top and bottom cover plus two cover screws, which are black finish on black enclosures. A 55.06 x 55.06 mm recess, 0.75 mm deep, on the top is sized for a membrane display or keypad. Recommended torque is 40 cN-m for cover screws and 20-30 cN-m for internal mounting screws.
Replacement 1593QS100/1593QS100BK cover screws, 1593ATS50 board screws and the 1599CLIP belt clip are listed for this size. The 1593JBK is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, weighs 0.1 lbs (0.05 kg), and can be milled, drilled or printed by the factory.
