The 1593ARTBU is the translucent blue edition of the 1593AR hand held instrument enclosure, measuring 2.95 in x 2.91 in x 1.06 in (75 mm x 74 mm x 27 mm). Its ergonomic shape is designed for a comfortable fit in the user's hand.
Like the rest of the 1593 Series, it is molded from general purpose ABS with a satin texture, here rated UL94 HB. There are two removable end panels and no battery door, so the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. A recessed top with a 68.69 mm x 66.69 mm inlay accepts a membrane display or pad. Self-tapping screws secure the case, and transparent blue enclosures include black finish screws.
Internal space measures 69.38 mm x 67.89 mm x 22.00 mm. Circuit boards up to 67.50 mm x 68.50 mm are recommended (not supplied) and mount on bosses that accept #2.6 self-tapping screws. Recommended torque is 40 cN-m [57 ozf-in] for cover screws and 20-30 cN-m [29-42 ozf-in] for internal mounting screws.
Each 1593ARTBU ships in shrink wrap with top and bottom cover, two flat front and rear panels and two cover screws. Translucent blue replacement panels (1593ARL1TBU-10 flat, 1593ARL2TBU-10 contoured), IR and aluminum panels, and belt clips are listed. RoHS and REACH compliant.
