The 1592ETSDGY is the light gray, solid display area version of the 1592 "T" display enclosure. The hand held T-case is listed at 5.1 in x 9.21 in x 1.35 in (130 mm x 234 mm x 34 mm) and is designed for instruments and mobile data units with both a keypad and a display.
Rather than a lens opening, the display end has a solid 122 mm x 85 mm (4.8" x 3.4") area that will accommodate display boards up to 118 mm x 60 mm (4.6" x 2.37"). The display section is 130 mm wide and the keyboard section 95 mm wide, over a 235 mm length and 35 mm depth with lid.
The case is molded from flame retardant ABS carrying a UL94 V-0 rating and is listed as IP54. Brass bushings in the front give increased durability, eight PCB bosses provide board support, the maximum listed PC board size is 117.58 mm x 222.58 mm, and inner box height is 28.05 mm.
Accessories sold separately include a magnetic strip (1592ETM) or hook and loop tab (1592ETV) for the case back, a gasket kit (1592ETG), rubber feet (1592ETRF) and replacement screws (1594MS100). The insert-tooled display area allows a low-cost custom display area to be molded to specific requirements. The 1592ETSDGY is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships in shrink wrap.
