The 1592ETSDBK is a black hand held T-case from the 1592 "T" display enclosure family, with a solid (uncut) display area. It measures 5.1 in x 9.21 in x 1.35 in (130 mm x 234 mm x 34 mm) and suits instrument and mobile data designs that need a keypad section and a display section in one housing.
The solid display area is 122 mm x 85 mm (4.8" x 3.4") and accommodates display boards up to 118 mm x 60 mm (4.6" x 2.37"), leaving you free to cut your own window or use the area for labelling. The display end is 130 mm wide, the keyboard section 95 mm wide, and the case is 235 mm long and 35 mm deep with the lid.
It is molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0 and listed as IP54. Brass bushings in the front increase durability, eight PCB bosses hold the board, and the listed maximum PC board size is 117.58 mm x 222.58 mm. Inner box height is 28.05 mm.
The back of the 1592ETSDBK is designed to accept a magnetic strip (1592ETM) or hook and loop tab (1592ETV), sold separately, and a gasket kit (1592ETG) and rubber feet (1592ETRF) are also available. The display area is insert tooled for low-cost custom molding to specific requirements. RoHS and REACH compliant; shipped in shrink wrap.
