The 1592ETCDGY is the light gray version of the 1592 "T" display enclosure with a clear display area. This hand held T-case measures 5.1 in x 9.21 in x 1.35 in (130 mm x 234 mm x 34 mm) and is built for instrument and mobile data products that pair a keypad with a display.
Its display end is 130 mm wide and its keyboard section 95 mm wide, over a 235 mm length and 35 mm depth with lid. An opening in the display area is covered by a 102 mm x 45 mm clear polycarbonate lens, and a plain mylar mask kit frames whichever display board you install behind it. The lens fits snugly into the case, protecting the display from dirt and dust.
Construction is flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0, and the enclosure is listed as IP54. Brass bushings on the front provide durable fastening, eight PCB mounting bosses carry the electronics, and the maximum listed board size is 117.58 mm x 222.58 mm with 27.70 mm of inner box height.
For mounting, the back of the 1592ETCDGY accepts a magnetic strip (1592ETM) or hook and loop tab (1592ETV), sold separately; a gasket kit (1592ETG) and rubber feet (1592ETRF) are also offered. Because the display area is insert tooled, a custom display area can be molded at low cost to specific requirements. RoHS and REACH compliant; shipped in shrink wrap.
