The 1591XXSGY is a light gray S-size project box from the 1591XX series, molded in UL94 V-0 flame retardant ABS for electronics that mount a printed circuit board horizontally. It is aimed at electronics designers and OEM engineers.
The box and lid are molded from flame retardant ABS (FRABS) carrying a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, in a light gray textured finish. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm (M3-0.5) Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass inserts, suited to repeated opening and closing. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid, 4 cover screws and installed brass inserts; light gray enclosures come with nickel plated screws. The enclosure is designed to meet IP54, providing protection against access of dust and splashing water.
