The 1591LF2SGY is a light gray general purpose ABS enclosure with a bottom mounting flange on the compact 1591L body, 3.35 x 2.2 x 1.54 in (85 x 56 x 39 mm). It gives OEMs and hobbyists a flanged card-guide box in an economy grade.
General purpose versions are not flame retardant; this part is rated UL94 HB. It is IP54 rated with lap joint construction against dust and splashing water. The lid is assembled with #4 self-tapping screws into fully plastic posts, with standard nickel finish screws for light gray enclosures.

The 1591LF2SGY includes box, lid and 4 cover screws, tightened to 42-57 ozf.in (30-40 cN.m); replacements are 1591TS100 (nickel plated) in packs of 100. It ships in shrink wrap at 0.15 lbs (0.07 kg), is RoHS and REACH compliant, and accepts the 1591LC clear lid. Optional 1591Z card adaptors allow boards to be mounted horizontally, and factory modification (milling, drilling, printing) is available.
