Hammond 1591EFLGY 190x111x61 mm Flanged Lid FR Abs Enclosure, Light Gray

The 1591EFLGY is a light gray flame retardant ABS enclosure from the 1591 series with wall mounting flanges molded into the lid. With a body size of 7.5 in x 4.35 in x 2.39 in (191 mm x 110 mm x 61 mm), it suits OEM engineers and integrators who need to fix a circuit-board housing directly to a wall or panel.

The lid flanges extend the overall length to 215.40 mm [8.480 in], with 204.00 mm [8.031 in] between the flange mounting holes. Inside the box there is 183.52 mm [7.225 in] of length, 103.53 mm [4.076 in] of width and 56.60 mm [2.228 in] of height, and card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062 in) boards for vertical mounting.

The enclosure is molded from flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0. Lap joint construction guards against dust and splashing water and is designed to meet IP54. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws into pre-installed brass inserts, a good fit where the lid is opened repeatedly; recommended torque is 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). This light gray version ships with nickel finish screws. The lid also accepts #4 self-tapping screws for mounting a PC board to it (1593ATS50 / 1593ATS100).
