Hammond 1591EFLBK 190x111x61 mm Black Flanged-Lid FR Abs Enclosure

The 1591EFLBK is the 1591E size flame retardant enclosure in black with wall mounting flanges molded into the lid. Listed at 190 x 111 x 61 mm (7.48 x 4.37 x 2.40 in) in the series table and 7.5 x 4.35 x 2.39 in (191 x 110 x 61 mm) on the part page, it lets installers fix the lid to a wall or panel and close the box onto it.

The enclosure is molded from FRABS with a UL94 V-0 rating. Six black M3-0.5 x 10 mm machine screws thread into pre-installed brass inserts at a recommended 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). The lid also accepts #4 x 1/4" (6.4 mm) self-tapping screws for mounting a PC board directly to it (1593ATS50 / 1593ATS100). Lap joint construction and an IP54 design protect against dust and splashing water.

The drawing shows 215.40 mm (8.480 in) overall length across the lid flanges and inside dimensions of 183.52 x 103.53 x 56.60 mm (7.225 x 4.076 x 2.228 in). Card guides in all side walls take 1.5 mm (0.062") boards.

The 1591EFLBK weighs 0.59 lbs (0.27 kg), ships shrink wrapped with box, lid, 6 cover screws and brass inserts, and is RoHS and REACH compliant. A gray version is 1591EFLGY and an economy black version is 1591ESFLBK.
