Hammond 1591DBK 150x80x50mm Black Flame Retardant ABS Enclosure

The 1591DBK is a black flame retardant ABS enclosure in the 1591D size, measuring 5.91 in x 3.15 in x 1.97 in (150 mm x 80 mm x 50 mm). It gives OEM engineers and integrators more room than the smaller 1591 sizes while keeping the same card guide design.

Card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062”) thick boards for vertical mounting. The drawing gives an inside length of 143.61 mm [5.654 in], inside width of 73.61 mm [2.898 in] and inside height of 46.10 mm [1.815 in], with a 41.10 mm guide height and 2.11 mm slot width.

Made from FRABS with a UL94 V-0 flame rating, it secures the lid with M3 - 0.5 machine screws into pre-installed brass inserts, making repeated access straightforward. The purchased assembly includes box, lid, 4 cover screws and pre-installed brass inserts, and black enclosures include black screws. Recommended torque is 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m).

Lap joint construction provides IP54 protection. The 1591DBK is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships in shrink wrap at 0.29 lbs (0.13 kg) and pairs with the 1591DC clear polycarbonate lid.
