The 1590ZGRP243 is a large 400 x 250 mm thick-wall enclosure in gray glass reinforced polyester, giving panel builders and integrators plenty of mounting area inside a watertight, non-metallic box rated IP66 and NEMA 4X.
Overall size is 15.75 x 9.84 x 4.73 in (400 x 250 x 120 mm). The ordering table splits the 120 mm assembled depth into a 95 mm base and a 25 mm lid. A PC board up to 382 x 232 mm fits the internal shelf, and the 1590ZGRP243PL galvanized steel inner panel mounts to the molded-in nuts (sold separately).
The lid is a two piece tongue and groove design with an EPDM sponge rubber gasket, closed by four self-captivated stainless steel screws. Recommended cover screw torque is 8-9.5 lbf.in (90-110 cN.m). Extra lid screws are SC570-20 (M6 - 1.0 x 30mm, 20 pack) and copper ground hardware is SCGM6GRP-20. Wall-mounting through holes are located outside the gasket channel.
The 1590ZGRP243 is IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 rated, certified to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A, and C UL and UL listed under file E65324. It is IK09 impact rated, UL94 V-0 flame rated and recommended for -40°C to +120°C. RoHS and REACH compliant; shipping weight 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
