Hammond 1590ZGRP234 255 x 250 x 120 mm Near-Square Fiberglass Enclosure

The 1590ZGRP234 is a near-square 255 x 250 mm enclosure in gray glass reinforced polyester, built with a heavy duty thick wall for integrators who need a larger watertight box for larger PC boards or inner-panel layouts in NEMA 4X, IP66 locations.

Per the ordering table it is 10.04 in (255 mm) long, 9.84 in (250 mm) wide and 4.72 in (120 mm) deep, with a 95 mm base and a 25 mm lid; the part page lists 10.04 x 9.87 x 4.73 in (255 x 251 x 120 mm). A PC board up to 238 x 232 mm fits the internal shelf, and the 1590ZGRP234PL steel inner panel (sold separately) is designed for this enclosure.

The two piece tongue and groove lid compresses an EPDM sponge rubber gasket under four self-captivated stainless steel screws. Recommended cover screw torque is 8-9.5 lbf.in (90-110 cN.m). Extra lid screws are SC570-20 (M6 - 1.0 x 30mm). Wall-mounting through holes are outside the gasket channel.

The 1590ZGRP234 carries IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings, NEMA 4, 4X certification per UL 508A, and C UL and UL listing under file E65324, along with an IK09 impact rating and UL94 V-0 flame rating. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +120°C. RoHS and REACH compliant; ships shrink wrapped at 5.95 lbs (2.70 kg).
