Hammond 1590Z145GY 200 x 100 mm Smooth Gray Diecast Enclosure

The 1590Z145GY is a 200 x 100 mm diecast aluminum enclosure finished in smooth gray RAL 7001 powder paint, painted inside and out. It is aimed at integrators and OEMs building sealed electronic assemblies for outdoor, industrial or wet environments who want a gray housing.

It shares the 1590Z construction: a two piece tongue and groove diecast aluminum body and lid, a replaceable one piece silicone rubber gasket (-40C to +150C / -40F to 302F) that ships loose inside, and four recessed stainless steel lid screws that are self-captivating and thread into the lid on first installation.

The ordering table gives 200 mm (7.87 in) x 100 mm (3.94 in) with an 80 mm (3.15 in) total depth and 20 mm (0.79 in) lid depth; the part page lists 7.87 x 3.94 x 3.19 in (200 x 100 x 81 mm). An internal mounting shelf accepts the optional 1590Z145PL steel inner panel, and the drawing shows provision for an M4 grounding screw. Shipping weight is 1.96 lbs (0.89 kg).

The series is cUL and UL listed, independently tested to IP66, IP67 and IP68 and NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 & 13, and carries an IK08 impact rating per IEC62262. The 1590Z145GY is RoHS and REACH compliant. Customers should conduct their own testing to determine suitability for any specific application.
