The 1590Z150 is a 221 x 121 mm natural diecast aluminum enclosure from the 1590Z thick-wall, watertight series. Its larger footprint and M6 hardware make it a practical housing for electronics builders, controls engineers and field installers packaging larger circuit boards for outdoor or wet environments.
The box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy with two piece tongue and groove construction and an average wall thickness of 4.90 mm [.19 in] per the drawing. A replaceable one piece silicone rubber gasket rated -40C to +150C (-40F to 302F) seals the joint and is supplied loose inside the enclosure. Four recessed stainless steel lid screws, self-captivating and thread-forming on first use, secure the lid; the recommended torque is 15-17 lbf.in (150-170 cN.m).

Inside, the drawing shows 104.05 mm width and 73.00 mm depth, and boards up to 206.71 x 105.82 mm are supported. The internal mounting shelf takes the optional 1590Z150PL steel inner panel.
