The 1590YBK is the textured black version of the square 1590Y diecast aluminum enclosure, 92 x 92 x 42 mm with no mounting flanges. It is well suited to compact electronics that will be seen and handled, such as control boxes and OEM modules.
The aluminum alloy casting is coated with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included to enhance appearance. A lap joint where the lid meets the box protects against dust and splashing water, with this standard version designed to meet IP54.
Nominal size is 3.62 in x 3.62 in x 1.65 in (92 mm x 92 mm x 42 mm), with 42.00 mm [1.654 in] overall height per the drawing. The inside is 85.17 mm [3.353 in] square and 36.30 mm [1.429 in] high, and the maximum P.C. board is 84.17 x 84.17 mm.
The 1590YBK includes box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws in factory-tapped holes. Add gasket kit 1590YGASKET plus liquid resistant black screws (1590WMS100BK) for IP65, or choose the water-tight 1590WYBK. It weighs 0.55 lbs (0.25 kg) shipped in shrink wrap and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
