The 1590XXFLBK brings together the slim 1590XX body, a lid with an integrated wall-mounting flange and a textured black finish. It is intended for integrators and equipment makers who want a low-profile, surface-mounted diecast housing that looks finished out of the box.
The diecast aluminum alloy is coated with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, and black screws are included to enhance appearance. Lap joint construction where the lid meets the box protects against dust and splashing water, and this standard version is designed to meet IP54.
Nominal box size is 5.72 in x 4.77 in x 1.55 in (145 mm x 121 mm x 39 mm), 175.20 mm [6.898 in] long overall with the lid flange and 39.30 mm [1.547 in] high per the drawing. Inside there is 139.00 mm [5.472 in] x 115.00 mm [4.528 in] x 35.05 mm [1.380 in] of space, with listed maximum P.C. board dimensions of 114 mm and 138 mm.
Each 1590XXFLBK includes box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws. Gasket kit 1590XGASKET upgrades it to IP65, or choose the factory water-tight 1590WXXFLBK. Shipping weight is 0.79 lbs (0.36 kg) in shrink wrap; the part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
