Hammond 1590XXFL Low-Profile Flanged-Lid Diecast Box, 145 x 121 mm

The 1590XXFL is the low-profile 1590XX diecast enclosure with a wall-mounting flange integrated into its lid. At 145 x 121 x 39 mm it gives installers a slim, surface-mountable metal housing for control, interface and OEM electronics.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, easy to machine and vibra finished in natural aluminum for a smooth surface with no sharp edges. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet protects against dust and splashing water, and this standard version is designed to meet IP54.

The box's nominal size is 5.72 in x 4.77 in x 1.55 in (145 mm x 121 mm x 39 mm). Across the lid flange the drawing gives 175.20 mm [6.898 in] overall length, with 39.30 mm [1.547 in] overall height. The interior measures 139.00 mm [5.472 in] by 115.00 mm [4.528 in] by 35.05 mm [1.380 in], and maximum P.C. board dimensions are listed as 114 mm and 138 mm.

The 1590XXFL assembly includes box, lid and four 6-32 UNC cover screws, torqued to 50-55 cN.m (71-78 ozf.in). For IP65, fit gasket kit 1590XGASKET or choose the factory water-tight 1590WXXFL. It ships in shrink wrap at 0.79 lbs (0.36 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
