Hammond 1590XXCB Cobalt Blue 145x121 mm Diecast Stomp Box Enclosure

The 1590XXCB is the 145 x 121 mm rectangular size of the 1590-STOMP painted diecast stomp box series, factory powder coated in Cobalt Blue (RAL 5013); the part page lists the colour as Blue, a cobalt blue factory powder coat. It is the largest rectangular size in the series table, for stomp box manufacturers and experimenters building larger circuits.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine. The smooth glossy polyester powder coat gives a lasting finish even after machining, accepts labels and silk screens easily, and is matched to standard RAL colours.

The ordering table lists 145 mm (5.71 in) length, 121 mm (4.76 in) width and 40 mm (1.57 in) height; the part page gives 5.72 x 4.77 x 1.55 in (145 x 121 x 39 mm). The drawing shows an overall 145.20 x 121.20 x 39.30 mm with inside dimensions of 139.00 mm long, 115.00 mm wide and 35.05 mm high. Maximum PC board size is 114 x 138 mm, and the side wall draft angle of 2° or less eases board mounting.

Unfinished (1590XX) and black textured (1590XXBK) versions exist, and the enclosure can be factory modified with milling, drilling or printing. STEP or IGES solid models are available.
