The 1590WP1FLBK is a textured black, watertight 1590P1 diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged lid for wall mounting. It measures 6.02 x 3.27 x 1.98 in (153 x 83 x 50 mm) and is designed to meet IP65, for integrators who need a sealed, surface-mounted black housing.
The box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy, which is tough yet easy to machine, and this part has textured black polyester powder paint for a lasting finish, even after machining, with black screws included. Lap joint construction where lid and box meet helps keep out dust and splashing water, and the low side wall draft angle (2° or less) makes P.C. board mounting easier.
Overall length including the lid flange is 178.50 mm (7.028 in), and the inside offers 145.69 x 75.79 x 45.40 mm (5.736 x 2.984 x 1.787 in).
A silicone gasket is supplied with this liquid resistant enclosure, loose inside the box rather than pre-installed. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws (4X 6-32 UNC threads); recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with the gasket. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing).
