Hammond 1590WBBSFLBK 120x94x42mm IP65 Black Diecast Enclosure, Flanged Lid

The 1590WBBSFLBK is the black textured, water-tight 1590BBS-size diecast aluminum enclosure with a wall-mounting flange integrated into the lid. Integrators and product engineers choose this format for a painted, deeper metal housing that mounts through its lid and is designed to meet IP65.

Box and lid are diecast aluminum alloy. The black version's polyester powder paint is tough and keeps a lasting finish even after machining, and black screws are included to enhance appearance. The lid and box meet in a lap joint that protects against dust and splashing water. The silicone gasket is included, supplied loose rather than pre-installed.

Nominal size is 4.72 x 3.70 x 1.65 in (120 x 94 x 42 mm), with the part page listing 4.7 x 3.7 x 1.66 in (119 x 94 x 42 mm). The drawing shows 148.00 mm [5.827 in] overall across the lid flange, a 94.00 mm [3.701 in] body width and a height of 42.10 mm [1.657 in].
