The 1590PPBK is the satin black painted version of the deep 1590PP diecast aluminum enclosure. It is aimed at builders and OEM designers who need a finished black metal box with extra depth, offering 56.20 mm [2.213"] of inside height and internal ribs for P.C. boards up to 111.57 mm by 85.67 mm.
It is diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine, painted with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish even after machining, with black screws included to enhance appearance. The purchased assembly includes the box, lid and 4 cover screws (M3.5x0.6 x 12.00 mm) that thread into factory-tapped holes. Recommended torque is 50-55 cN.m [71-78 ozf.in], or 25-30 cN.m [36-43 ozf.in] with a gasket. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, and the enclosure is rated IP54.
