Hammond 1590PGASKET IP65 Silicone Lid Gasket Kit, 2-Pack

The 1590PGASKET is a 2-pack of pre-formed silicone gaskets for the 1590P size of diecast aluminum enclosure (listed as fitting 1590P and P1 enclosures). It is for engineers and builders who want to upgrade a standard IP54 enclosure to IP65, or who need a replacement gasket for a water-tight version.

Each kit includes two pre-formed silicone gaskets with adhesive backing for easy installation. The gasket is applied to the lid, which means the enclosure can be machined and/or painted first and gasketed later. The kit is designed to meet IP65 with a properly installed gasket and lid screws torqued to 25-30 cN.m (36-43 ozf.in).

The series table lists 1590PGASKET as the optional replacement gasket kit for the 153 x 83 x 50 mm size, covering the natural 1590P, 1590WP, 1590PFL, 1590WPFL, 1590PF and 1590WPF, and the black 1590PBK, 1590WPBK, 1590PFLBK, 1590WPFLBK and 1590WPFBK.

Gaskets are already included with water-tight 1590 enclosures, where they are supplied loose inside the enclosure rather than pre-installed; this kit provides the same upgrade path for a standard version. The gasket material is silicone, the kit is RoHS and REACH compliant, and it ships in a bag with a shipping weight of 0.01 lbs (0.00 kg).
