The 1590NFBK combines the 1590N enclosure size with a welded flanged bottom plate and a satin black painted finish. It is intended for integrators and OEM designers who need to surface-mount a black metal electronics box, with the flange bringing the overall length to 146.05 mm [5.750"].
Construction is diecast aluminum alloy, tough yet easy to machine, painted with tough polyester powder paint for a lasting finish even after machining. Black screws are included to enhance appearance. Internal ribs guide P.C. boards up to 112.24 mm by 56.34 mm, and the side walls have a draft angle of 2 degrees or less. Lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water, giving an IP54 rating.
